Welcome to Seven City Art Society

Seven City Art Society, LLC is a multimedia cultural organization based in Alexandria, VA. Our mission is to facilitate civic participation and social engagement through the use of art and technology.

We provide virtual spaces such as the ning network, Facebook groups, and bbm groups for artists and art lovers to connect and maintain meaningful interactions. We then turn these spaces into physical spaces for artists and art lovers to physically meet with events such as workshops, Soul Sessions, open mics, slams, etc.

Seven City Art Society, LLC was birthed from the passion of Computer Scientist and Performance Poet Shelly Bell. As a lover of technology and art she envisioned an opportunity to meet art lovers where they have begun to hover most, social media sites and mobile apps.
