I've been sewing for ~a dozen years, primarily garment sewing for myself, but also the occasional home dec item.
I drive a Bernina Activa 125, a Bernina 800dl serger, a Babylock coverstitch, and a TacSew Blindhemmer. Also have a Bernina 009dcc coverstitch in the stable, but don't use her much now that I have the Babylock.
Depends on the mistake. Typically rip out and move on, or recut if necessary. I am not to be defeated by cloth.
I love all my babies. Ok, maybe not all... At this very moment, I think my favorite garment may be one of my most recent: a short safari-style trench that I drafted (knocked off from RTW) this spring. http://www.io.com/~lolawson/sewing/trenchcoat/
Definitely another coat. I have all the ingredients for a parka sitting right here waiting on me to have time. (Yeah, I know it's been 105 every day for the past two months....)
Heard about the upcoming meetup and am interested in meeting other garment sewists!
Fantastic group of sewists of all levels and interests. Lots of creativity to be shared!
