I started hand sewing when I was a child, and learned how to use a machine, more or less, a couple of decades ago. But I'm still only a beginner.
I have a basic Janome sewing machine and basic Janome serger. They are at home, so I can't tell you anything more about them.
Cry. Not really. It depends on the mistake. Usually it's just some threads to rip out. If it's something like cutting through the fabric, I'll see if I can patch over it with an applique. If not, there's always a need for rags.
Probably the skirt I sewed for my daughter years ago. If I find a picture, I'll show it. I can't believe how much wear she's gotten out of it.
Pants. No, bags. No...dresses. Not being able to commit to one thing is a problem for me.
I have very basic sewing skills and a lot of cloth staring at me, wondering when I will do something with it. I hope meeting people in this group will encourage me to start sewing regularly.
