What is your history with sewing?

I am currently making American Girl Dolls clothes for my granddaughters, and would like to make my own designs but need help finding copyright free patterns.

Tell us about your sewing machine(s).

I have an old Singer machine, about 25 years old. It does basic stitches, including embroidering selections.

When you make a mistake while sewing, what do you do?

If the fabric is not too sheer or tends to unravel, I usually pull out the stitches and re-do the task.

What's your favorite thing you've ever sewn? Can we see a picture?

At the moment, american girl doll clothes.

If skill, time, and resources were no issue, what would you sew right now?

same as above.

Introduction

I am retired now, but continue with art and sewing projects. I would like to be able to market some of my projects and learn to make my own (doll clothes) patterns.
