I've taken sewing classes at Saddleback Community College (beginner, intermediate and vintage pattern class). The most difficult thing I've sewn is a button down shirt. I have a half-finished brocade jacket that I need to finish setting the sleeves and putting on the collar.
I have a Viking Emerald 116 and a Huskylock 936.
Sometimes, I fix it right away (usually the mistake is sewing a sleeve in, I sew is on the wrong side..grrr). Other times I can get quite discouraged and leave the garment unfinished if I can't figure it out.
A blouse out of two different fabric pieces. My clothes are packed and when I arrive in Georgetown I can provide a photo.
Would love to have the capability to create heirloom fabric and construct a gibson-girl blouse (using Folk Patterns)
Hi, My name is Robin Peinado. I'm about an advanced beginner sewer.
Really great, can't wait to become more involved!
