What is your history with sewing?

I grew up in Minnesota watching my family make quilts. A love for sewing grew from that. I remember my dad making a quilt from old flannel shirts. I recently had a Etsy store sewing phone and tablet cases from felt. I'm getting into making clothes and quilting hard core again and it would be lovely to be around fellow sewers.

Tell us about your sewing machine(s).

Brother SE400. I was able to upgrade to this awesome machine thanks to my Etsy store.

When you make a mistake while sewing, what do you do?

Patiently fix it, but alas some epic mistakes can not be mended.

What's your favorite thing you've ever sewn? Can we see a picture?

My favorite thing ever was probably the handbag I made in grade school. It was a up cycle project based on making things you had around the house. I raided my mothers scrap fabric and sewing supplies and got to work. Unfortunately, no photos exist.

If skill, time, and resources were no issue, what would you sew right now?

A 1950s style dress. I actually have constellation fabric picked out. Just need the time.

Hello everyone. I'm an artist/illustrator.
