I worked in a costume shop during college doing minor alterations. I now sew using very basic patterns, such as aprons and anything more advanced required the guidance of my auntie.
Depends who I'm sewing with. My mom will usually just keep going and make it work anyway. My auntie is a perfectionist and will make me take it apart. Also depends on what I'm making...is it worth taking it apart? am I able to deal with the mistake and move along?
Halloween goodie bags made out of t-shirts and internet instructions. Because I typically need to know exactly what I'm doing and what it's going to look like, these were my favorite because they were a lesson in going with the flow.
Hello! I'm Deedee.
