I've sewn off and on for many years. About five or six years ago I got an embroidery machine, and although I don't quilt, I've attending the Houston Quilt Show for the last four years and love going with my friends.
I have a Babylock Ellure embroidery/sewing machine and a brand new Babylock Evolution serger. I still have a very old but still working Singer machine.
I don't like mistakes but at some point it just makes no sense to spend hours and hours on one project, so I can usually let it go.
The last thing I made was for my granddaughter, and although she had tons of new clothes, she chose the outfit I made for her first day of kindergarten! I'd love to attach a photo but can't figure out how.
I spent this past weekend at an Anita Goodesign Embroidery Party, so I'd use one of my new designs packets to embroider - probably the cutwork fall tea towels. They are just beautiful.
I'm a retired state employee and inventor of the Bobbin Bloom - a revolutionary and fun way to store sewing bobbin and thread together. I've just launched my web site: http://bobbinbloo...
