What is your history with sewing?

I learned how to sew from my grandmother when I was about 8 years old and have been sewing and crafting on and off ever since. I love to make dolls similar to the Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. I have a shop on the Etsy site called "Hugables" (only one "g" ) and am having fun with that.

Tell us about your sewing machine(s).

I have a New Home sewing machine that I have had forever and just love it. It weighs a ton but is so dependable and all metal...wouldn't trade it for anything.

When you make a mistake while sewing, what do you do?

I usually take it out and start over if that will correct it or create something from my mistake .

What's your favorite thing you've ever sewn? Can we see a picture?

Just love my dolls. Here is a photo of a recent set of dolls...hopefully you can view it.................picture/Users/paulajensen/Desktop/IMG_0873.JPG

If skill, time, and resources were no issue, what would you sew right now?

More dolls and create things out of leather....I have a large supply of leather from my father who was a hunter and had the hides tanned.

Introduction

I love to sew and am looking to learn how to improve my skills and get motivated with new ideas. Love socializing and meeting fun people with the same interests.
