SF Bay Area Interactive Fiction Group Meetup

This month, we have a special treat planned.

As some of you are aware, last month Emily Short pre-announced  a new Versu game, Blood and Laurels. "Cults. Conspiracies. Poison. Stabbing. Blackmail. Seduction. Prophecies and rumors. Divine wrath — or possibly just bad weather. Death and glory in ancient Rome. Built on the Versu engine, coming soon to the iPad."

Unfortunately the new management at Linden Lab decided to cancel it.

The game is done, and ready to release, but Linden is not allowing it to be published. Blood and Laurels may never be generally available to the public.

But I have a copy of Blood and Laurels on my iPad. And we can play it on Saturday!

(One playthrough can be pretty short, so we can also play anything else y'all want to try.)

Please RSVP so we know how much food to bring!
