Sent on: Sunday, June 20, 2010 12:09 AM
I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing:
http://www.meetup.com/sf-bay-area-interactive-fiction/calendar/13817537/

When: Saturday, July 3,[masked]:00 PM

Where:
Au Coquelet,
2000 University Ave
Berkeley, CA 94701
[masked]

This Meetup repeats on the 1st Saturday of every month.

I've got two items for the agenda, plus whatever else happens to come to mind. (Suggestions are also welcome!)

Part 1) Writers' workshop. What are you writing? How is your progress? If you're a writer, use this as a deadline to get something done. :-)

Part 2) IF Book Club: Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble (with a dash of Witch's Yarn). Please play DHSGiT in advance of the meeting; we'll use it for discussion. Keith Nimitz's games are available at www.mousechief.com. (Try them free for 60 minutes.) We'll primarily discuss DHSGiT, but also briefly touch on Witch's Yarn.

Next month: IF Book Club: Emily Short's Alabaster, at Kenji's suggestion. How many endings did you find? Is the "experiment" a success?

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Maybe" as well as "Yes".)

You can always get in touch with me through the "Contact Organizer" link on Meetup: http://www.meetup.com/sf-bay-area-interactive-fiction/suggestion/
