SF Freebase February Meetup

This location is shown only to members

Our meetups are a chance to learn about Freebase, hear some great talks about how people are using it, and hang out with other Freebase developers, data contributors, and community members.

Speakers:

  • Michael Masouras will present a new Freebase plugin for Wordpress
  • Brian Karlak will be talking about how using machine learning techniques to type topics in Freebase
  • Praveen Paritosh will be following on from Jamie's talk, last month, to talk about how we are reconciling Wordnet data with topics in Freebase
  • Raymond Yee will be talking about how to use Freebase to connect with open government data (especially Recovery Act data) and give it context.

We're seeking speakers! If you'd like to present a demo, how-to, or any other short talk at this or any other Freebase meetup, please get in touch.

Be sure to RSVP, as we use these numbers to order pizza and beer!
