I am an R newbie-taking the Coursera class in Data Analysis and an astronomer making the switch to Data Science.
I have joined this group and would love to attend but kids etc make it hard to do the commute..(I lie in Cupertino). Any chances we could do some of these meetups ..midway? Maybe Redwood City or San Mateo? -
