The Role:
We're looking for an experienced database administration to support our production and development databases. As part of the TechOps team, you will provide first level 24x7 database support. You will also be responsible for performance tuning and making recommendations based on your review of analysis reports and database logs. This person will also manage backup and recovery of our production database, ensuring minimum downtime and 100% recoverability.

The right candidate will have proven success in managing mySQL/PostgreSQL databases and will thrive in an energetic, fast-paced environment.

The Right Person:
* Bachelor's degree, preferably MIS/CIS.
* Minimum 3-4 years DBA experience (MySQL preferred).
* Knowledge of relational database logical modeling and physical design for OLTP/OLAP systems.
* Ability to understand and write complex SQL queries.
* Experience working with large storage environments, preferably EMC

Things to Know:
* Full-time, regular position.
* Reports to the VP of Technology Operations.
