Cross Device Advertising - One Tag - Undertone Networks

  • Oct 8, 2013 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Please note the RSVP list is CLOSED. Due to venue restrictions, if you did not RSVP by 4pm on Tuesday 10/7/13 you will not be admitted to the event.

Undertone Networks, will be hosting the October SFADPUB meetup wtih Jason Hewes, their engineering lead for new ad formats, presenting Undertone's solution to cross device and platform advertising - ScreenShift. This is an excellent follow up to our June meetup on Responsive Advertising.

Topics covered:

ScreenShift – Undertone’s unique cross device & platform advertising format:
- One unique Tag
- Cross device
- Unified tracking
- Incorporates Responsive design

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKospyfcBzQ&feature=player_embedded

Followed by a discussion on how advertisers, publishers, and ad networks can work together better to support cross-device advertising.

What's in it for:

Advertisers: Design for popular sizes and allow the sizes in between to be responsive. Understand that with responsive design pixel perfection does not always work.

Publishers: Design your site(s) to support new formats. Use ad servers that support 1x1 ad sizes for mobile and tablet.

Ad networks: Tell us - what is your feedback on this and other emerging formats?

Venue and Schedule

- Doors open at 6:30 PM. The presentation will begin at 7:30 PM with time for Q&A.
- Enter through the California Street entrance
- Embarcadero BART is the closest station
- Parking is available in garage for a fee, but if you leave after 9pm a credit card is required.

It's sounds like I missed a great event last night. I had a scheduling conflict and couldn't make it. Is it possible to get a copy of the Undertone Networks presentation?
