Creating strong relationships with ad networks and other similar groups that help you get the most revenue out of your ad impressions is important for a publisher, but it can get complicated fast. How big do you need to be before working with an ad network, which networks should you be talking to and how do you negotiate a deal that makes sense for you, your content and your community? We'll be answering these types of questions and touching on several other topics around ad networks during this month's installment of SFAdPub.
We'll be featuring a panel led by Casey Saran who works as a Publisher Development Executive at Admeld (recently acquired by Google). Thanks to his time at Weather Underground, Casey has a ridiculous amount of experience managing and negotiating with ad networks from the publisher's perspective. Since leaving Weather Underground three years ago, Casey's been directly involved in some of the most widely used tech that helps publishers optimize their ad revenue and he's ready to answer all of your questions, so be prepared.
Was great- would love to see the presenters ensure broad content - while questions are great and foster very interesting discussion, I would rather the presenters field good, broadly relevant, and discussion worthy questions midstream, and leave responding to those "one-off" questions that are very specific to a single audience member for after the presentation.
