Hello there mates!
Was our paddle boarding event a success today.. Therefore, all hands are up to repeat this event. YAY! Afterwards, we will walk and have breakfast at Freds Place Coffee Shop.
It's amazing how we stumbled upon paddlers with their dogs on large flat surfboard.. Indeed, it was during our kayaking events.
Who can resist trying this water activity. Not only are you invigorated and calmed as you paddle because of the lull of the ocean, you and your body are challenged to balance on these sturdy boards.
No worries, the staff at Sea Trek are more than happy to show us the fundamentals of paddling. It's easy and fun...If you are still reluctant, we can ask a staff member Sea Trek an hourly rates to teach us beginners.... or maybe there is a kind member who can teach us..perhaps a free lesson.. lunch will be on us...
Please call , mention Jocee's meet up and reserve your paddle boards and make sure that you give us 48 hours to cancel. Cost is by the hour. Since we are renting paddle boards as a group, Sea Trek is offering us $15 instead of $20 per hour for Paddling board rentals if we rent more than 10 boards.
I would appreciate it if we meet up as a group at 8:45am before entering Sea Trek. Those who are bringing their own paddle boards please let me know.
We will paddle for 2 hours and stop by Katrina's house boat for 30 minutes and take a break. She is kind enough to invite us in her humble abode.
Again, after paddling, we will walk to Fred Place Coffee Shop for breakfast;
If you do have an emergency please give us 48 hours to cancel.This meet up is for both paddling and lunch.
Thanks for understanding...
Note: this is a limited seating RSVP event, so only RSVP if you intend to show up. No-shows will be removed from the group on this event.
About Sea Trek:
About the restaurant:
My hillbilly cousins flew in from Appalachia and wanted to go to Muir Woods. Was looking for a place in Sausalito that would feed both them and my foodie wife. Hit Yelp and found this place. Wednesday morning so it wasn't packed but still busy. There are only large tables so be prepared to share space with strangers.
Food was very good and service was very friendly. Will definitely make a point of hitting Fred's on my way through heading north.
San Francisco, CA
A great find for the those who like early morning breakfast on weekends.
If you are there at 9/9:30am on Sat/Sun, be ready to wait for ~ 30 mins. The place gets packed very fast. You share a table with other patrons or sit by the bar. The outdoor tables look very cozy as well. The food is super tasty. My favourite is the open face sandwich with onion, egg and beef patty (under Fred's originals).
