Corinthian Yacht Club Speaker Series: Women Sailors Rock!

This month the Corinthian Yacht Club "Speaker Series" features women sailors!

Featuring speakers Dana Riley, International Competitive Racer, Ashley Perrin, Delivery Captain & Offshore Racer, Sue Fox, Family Cruiser, Liveaboard & Science Teacher, and Cathy Stierhoff, Local Racer & Retired CPA.

No host bar opens at 6:30 p.m., presentation begins at 7:00 p.m.  These events can be quite popular, so get there early to park, meet up at the bar for a drink, and get a seat.

If you want to meet up with group members, meet at the upstairs bar, adjacent to the event room, at 6:30.  Once we take out seats and the presentation begins, it will be hard to find other members.

There is no charge, but please sign up here:

The speakers were well chosen, including their order. I loved the progression from Sue to Dana. Sorry I didn't meet any of you yesterday...I was looking around for "meetup"ers, but after asking a few ladies (who had no idea what I was talking about), I just sat down and enjoyed the lecture.

Glad you enjoyed it. We met around 6:30 in the bar area and outside on the deck.

Yeah, I drove in from Foster City and couldn't leave work til 5:30...which means I got there at 6:55...just enough time to wander around and then get a seat. I'll meet people next time :)

Nice presentation. Hearing 4 different viewpoints was really interesting. Very motivating to all!

The women rocked! It was exciting to hear the stories and places these women have traveled and worked all the while enjoying the sport of sailing.

Hmm I would like to make it but I'm not sure I can get there by 6:30. I'll look for people if I make it, but don't want to sign up, in case I don't.

Really, women sail? Wonder what Don of Mad Men would say about that?

    Sounds like a great event.

    See you there.
