New Year's Eve Party & Champagne Tasting w/ Gift Exchange in Emeryville

New Year's Eve w/ the gang...

Champagne Tasting, Food, Vino, Music, Dancing, Socialising, and White Elephant Gift Exchange!

This will be a blind Champagne Tasting.

No, you don't have to be blind to participate, just wear some cool sunglasses and move your head from side to side like Stevie Wonder.

The bottles will be bagged and numbered and we'll have note sheets w/ categories for rating the champagne.  At the end of the tasting (or sooner) we'll determine which bottle wins ( this will be determined numerically) - pls no questions yet!

If this isn't clear I'm sure it's just because I'm a kindergarten dropout, and has nothing to do w/ the fact that you're just not grasping what I'm saying.

Just kidding.  Well not about my education, or lack thereof.  Ah, but I digress.  Don't worry about the details, as they will sort themselves, and once you've done this you'll love it.

What To Bring:

~Champagne ($10-$20 range) for the tasting.   Or vino ($10-$20 range) for general consumption.

~Gift for the exchange ($10-20 range)

~A really nice food dish (we're talking festive, exotic, ethnic - the works!)

Festive attire!  If you want to wear a suit, do it.  If you ladies want to put on a nice dress, go for it.  Just don't want tee shirts and scruffy clothes.  Should I say, "Bow tie optional"?

A bright and cheerful attitude.  Naturally this includes your sense of humour.  Sourpusses please stay home.

You won't need your hiking boots or sunscreen for this one!

Directions will be emailed to those signed up a couple days before the party.

Change -Thx!

How about a massive ballon drop and great  prizes?

Hi chas, happy new year. I don't think I'll be able to meet up. I don't have a car and don't seem to be a lot of people going from San Francisco.

What's happening with the New year's Eve party. Do we have a place to meet? Are any plans being made? New Years is just a few weeks away?
