U.S. Army Core of Engineers: From the Sierra’s to the Sea

This is a free presentation by Ranger Linda.  With her passion and knowledge, and ability to speak to people of all ages and backgrounds, this should be both educational and informative.  And, it's free with lots of free waterfront parking!

In commemoration of Engineer month, this story spans over 150 years of US Army Corps of Engineers service to the state of California balancing environmental stewardship with the need for economic and urban growth.

Beginning with the construction of ports, harbors, and lighthouses and expanding over time to include debris removal and dredging major waterways, building and maintaining flood control projects, and responding to disasters are just a few of the duties that keep the Corps ready, relevant and reliable.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
