Barb - I'm thinking of bowing out. I don't own a boat nor am I in a sailing club. My experience has been that beginners need a lot of practice after taking lessons and Idon't know how I can do that withut spending much more t thsn I intend.

Crewing sounds more appropriate. I will be at the sailing event in the City tomorrow evening. Sorry,

    Wayne

Dave - I agree. I went to the sailors Dinner last night in San Franciaso. It was a good time, nice place/people but there wasn't one sailor there.

Hey folks, if interested in signing up for the Saturday class, go to www.sfsailing.org. If you're just interested in checking out the scene, there is an open sail for members on Sunday, so feel free to swing by and say hi. Open sails are for members who know how to sail small boats as well as give back. We're a volunteer organization - so we all make things happen for one another - and have fun!
