Kayaking in Sausalito and brunch at Le Garage

Due to the success of this kayaking/brunch event, we are repeating it a second time....

............Are you a water baby and you love the lull of the ocean. Start the day by paddling a kayak on the shores of Sausalito with a fun group of people at Sea Trek on Sunday, October  28th. Afterwards, we will all go out to brunch at Le Garage Restaurant. So lets get a breath of fresh morning air and the whip of the sea on this fine day. What an invigorating way to spend the day. If you have any questions please email me.

By the way, if you already have a kayak please bring it with you. We can launch it at the same place. Please note that this is for kayaking and lunch.

Please make your reservations at Sea Trek [masked] on your own. Cost is by the hour. Since we are renting kayak as a group, Sea Trek is offering us $15 instead of $20 per hour for Kayaking rental. Just mention that you are with SF 35+Social Single..Mitch, the manager/owner gave us the thumbs up for the discount). I would appreciate it if we meet up as a group at 8:45am before entering Sea Trek. Those who are bringing their own kayaks please let me know.

We will have brunch at Le Garage Restaurant at 1030am.

If you do have an emergency give us 48 hours to cancel. This is for kayaking and lunch.

Thanks for understanding...

"This is the most amazing brunch I have ever had. The food has proven truly unique and delicious from the sweet fig waffles (Gaufres) and the berry french toast (pain perdu), to the more savory eggs benedict and duck confit. The plates are a bit small if you develop quite an appetite but in my case it was perfectly proportioned for my hunger. The desserts however were a bit of a let down. The apple pie (tarte tatin) was just okay and the chocolate creme brulee was more like mousse and not warm. I recommend skipping on dessert. The location was tres cute with a great view but a bit chilly the morning I went as seating is mostly outdoors. Lastly, the menu is difficult to read. The font is pretty but illegible and the french names with no description made it hard to know what I was ordering exactly."

Note: this is a limited seating RSVP event, so only RSVP if you intend to show up. No-shows will be removed from the group on this event.

I called Sea Trek and they said the beach is still under a caution to avoid the contact with the water. Not sure about this!

the caution sign has been lifted according to Steve of Sea Trek.. it's regarding the Ph level of the water in Sausalito.. so no worries.. just called sea trek..jocee
