Hi Brad,
Are there ever opportunities to crew for an afternoon? I've yet to do any sailing w/ the grp (I schedule hikes and such), but used to crew and have done so in regattas before. My contributions to a newsletter would likely be confined to listing the current hikes/activities I have going, though I think you're looking for something a bit different. Not much time for writing articles. Besides I've been out of sailing for a few yrs, but would like to get back into it, as time allows.
Chas

Answer:

Chas,
You bet!

You can organize a sailing trip just about any time. I have several boats that are ready to sail any time day or night.. Here is how..

  • Just pick a day you want to go out.
  • Reserve the boat by contacting me at 415.261.1004
  • Start emailing or calling members or friends to fill the boat!

I'm putting together a "how to.." document that will be on the PAGES section of the NB Sailing Meetup.
WAIT all your contributions are very important.. I hope you do continue to promote all kinds of events, sailing or non. And I'm counting on your input and follow up from all the events you put on. For example I think the turn out from the Angel Island hike was awesome!
Just shoot me an email with a few facts or comments and I'll put it in the news letter.

Thanks!
CB
