Come to our first Seasteading Social, which will be in San Francisco, to talk/network/brainstorm with other people interested in seasteading. It is being hosted by Joe Lonsdale, our Board Chair and one of the main forces behind getting the Institute funded.

Agenda: Patri will give a short motivational talk on how seasteading can transform the world for the better. There will be a handout on TSI's activities and how you can help, and general mingling/networking. Patri & Joe will be available for questions.

NOTE: The date has moved to September 15th.

    Sounds perfect Peter. I'll meet you there. I can seat 3 others in a silver Mercedes C class, or I'll pile into someone else's car. P.S. Thanks for picking a place. Spontaneous order rulez! ;) Sean and Robin, can you get there also? That would make 4.

    I'm coming from Mountain View and am interested in carpooling. I suggest meeting at the Park-N-Ride at the Page Mill exit off 280 at 5:30. If I see a confirmation here by 4:00 that someone will meet me there, I will be there (in a blue Subaru Forester).

    Shall we meet at a public location with easy highway access and lots of parking in Mountain View around 5:30? If so where?

    I also live and work in Mountain View and can fit three other people in my car. However, if I don't get a definite on carpooling I may work in SF on Monday.

    1. Can I bring anything? 2. What are some likely places to park a car? Hi Robin, I'm in Los Altos and could easily swing by Mountain View to carpool with you and anyone else in the area. Maybe we should have a Mountain View carpool pre-meetup? :)
