After the first annual conference, we are going Kayaking around the houseboat community at Waldo Point. The houseboats are a fascinating and eclectic mix, and were a part of the inspiration for seasteading. It's a fun trip - not overly strenuous if you're worried about fitness level, and a beautiful way to see the houseboat community while getting some time in on the water.
The trip will last about 3 hours and cost about $65. We'll be out from 1-4pm! :)
Some notes from Sea Trek:
Please arrive 15 minutes early due to parking considerations for a timely check in. It promises to be a memorable, magical time on the water.
When you arrive... Our check-in counter is near the beach under the palm trees. You'll be greeted by Sea Trek staff who will ask you to sign a liability waiver then help you prepare for your paddle. We'll begin on the beach with a thorough safety orientation and instruction session, then launch for a leisurely exploration of our "backyard."
The Sausalito shoreline is home to exotic houseboats, historic ships, abundant marine life and many different species of birds. This is a magnificent way to experience the Bay and we look forward to sharing it with you!
Please view the following links for a list of what to bring and directions to our beach location.
