Knot-Tying Workshop at Noisebridge

The first Noisebridge knot workshop is scheduled for 3pm on Sunday, November 29th.

Rope-masters Shannon Lee and David Staiton at Noisebridge, the SF hackerspace.

  • Knot-talks from multiple speakers and "show and tell" items
  • Basic categories of knots: bends, hitches, bindings
  • Nautical knots, climbing knots and fancy decorative knots.

All levels of knot tying skills welcome.

Got a knot project?

Perhaps you need to protect your bicycle frame from those harsh parking meters...

Perhaps you need to know how to use a trucker's hitch to tie down a couch to bring to Ephemerisle...

We can even teach you to tie your shoes properly.

Bring your knot projects if you got em!

Last Sunday of the month, 3pm to 4:30pm

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
