Seasteading social at my place.

We're going to try this outdoors, so bring layers in case the temp drops in the evening.

Chef Joni will create a simple gourmet meal, served buffet style.  We're charging $15 for the food, which should compare to the cost at a restaurant. If you have food issues, send them to me ([masked]).  The entree will be chicken and there will be plenty of veggies.

The house is 3 minutes from the Highway 85 Interstate 280 interchange.  Exit off 280 at Foothill (the first exit north of 85).  If you are coming north on 85, take the 280N exit, stay in the rightmost lane and immediately exit onto Foothill.  Turn left at the light.  If you are coming north on 280, watch the merge!  The Foothill exit is very close to 85 and there is only 99.44 feet to make the merge for the Foothill exit.

There is a waterfall-creek feature next to the patio which makes a great place to hang out and talk.  The creek will be running by 6:00 PM, if you get here early.

This was my first immersion into seasteading discussions at a strategic level, and I had a great time. Thanks for everybody who traveled from SF and east bay to be there. How many south bay members are there interested in future seasteading meetings in Cupertino?

Won't be able to make it tomorrow, gotta stay in SF later, but looking forward to attending a meetup sometime soon. If anyone's ever in SF and wants to chat say hi. I'm completely new to seasteading.

    3. Hosting the autologous stem-cell businesses. Stem cells collected from you and stored for future re-administration are now legally a "new drug" requiring FDA approval in the USA. Put the re-infusion medical practice offshore where FDA approval is bypassed. The[masked] million dollars required for FDA approval could instead be spent on infrastructure needed to establish the seasteading platform. This investment can then be amortized by selling or leasing space to other business ventures.

    Sound like fun? Come play...

OK, so these are in reverse order. So be it.

    3. A haven for dietary supplements about to be discontinued because of FDA over-regulation. This includes short-run manufactured supplements (manufactured every month for maximum freshness), which should disappear in the next year, and "new dietary ingredients" whether they are actually new or not.

    2. Travel 20 miles, get entertained for the day (music, sex, gambling, surfing, jet-skiing, skydiving, gourmet dining), have the best night's sleep in years, then leisurely go home the next day feeling wonderful.

A few ideas I'd like to present for discussion for next Thursday.

    1. Deep-sleep services for older individuals that can most benefit from enhancement of deep sleep and increased growth hormone, but cannot get GHB prescribed in the USA. Currently 5 cents of GHB sells for $200 as (Xyrem), which allows this service to be provided with the same overhead as a chocolate square left on the pillow.
