What type of political system are you most interested in?

I'm not sure there is a political system in existence that I am "interested" in. Fundamentally, I believe that giving any group in human society the "right" to use force against other groups, except for self defense, seems to always lead to corruption or worse. We need to find a system that breaks this cycle.

How did you learn about seasteading?

I met Patri Friedman at the Convergence Conference at the Computer History Museum in 2008. I found his discussion quite interesting, and I am glad to see that Peter Thiel chose to fund his project.

My interest in seasteading goes back to before the 1972 Republic of Minerva Project, when there were a couple of similar attempts in the Caribbean in the late 1960s that were abandoned due to interference from Cuba.
