This will be about 7+ mile easy to moderate hike at this beautiful park.
Sunday is supposed to be warm and sunny.
AND Don't forget to change your clocks Sunday :)
Hike Highlights: Views, green rolling hills, reservoir, cows and fun people.
Bring enough water, lunch and something to share if u like [tastier snack gets you more friends ;)].
And bring a blanket for the lunch spot if you have, to sit on. It will help here :)
Meet at the Park parking lot at 11:30AM.
From 580, exit Central Livermore/North Livermore Avenue.
Drive south and it turns into South Livermore, passes through downtown, makes a sharp left curve, and turns into Tesla Road (about 3.5 miles from 580).
Just past the curve, look for the brown "parks" sign and turn right onto Mines Road.
Drive about 3.5 miles, at which point Mines Road veers left. Follow the brown parks signs, and stay straight on Del Valle Road about another 3.5 miles to the park entrance kiosk, on the right side of the road.
Turn right and go towards the boat launch/snacks on the map.
The boat ramp/snack bar parking lot is the last lot.
Park in the lot one before the boat ramp lot [there are 3 parking lots..park in the middle one]
There is a $6 [I think] entrance fee for cars and $2 for dogs :)
The above directions are just to give you an idea. Look at the maps and figure out your own directions.
Approx. GPS to the parking lot: N[masked] W[masked]
