What do you want to achieve with memory techniques? (school, competitions, personal development, etc.)

I want to be able to begin the task of learning cold the 256 odu of Ifa. Kinda like swallowing the Bible whole, or the Talmud, or the I Ching...

If you have any favorite books about memory, please list them here:

I have read Moonwalkiong, and am dipping into Brilliant Memory..

As a babalawo (priest of Ifa) I have a ton of material to learn and be able to recall. I read Moonwalking. Liked the sound of Medieval scholars learning whole texts.
