Tuesday is game night here at my place in Soma.  It's been about a year now and we usually get a rotating cast of characters coming by for some games.  Here is a link listing all the games we have on the shelves.

Just a warning, we tend to focus on mostly more involved strategy games, at least a few steps beyond something like Settlers of Catan in complexity.  So if you are new to gaming and potentially adverse to learning a bunch of rules, this game night may not be for you.

That being said, it is definitely nice to have new people show up and I am always learning and teaching new games - it isn't strictly competitive. So it's definitely possible to come and enjoy playing some games without knowing all the rules strategies already.

P.S.  We usually spend about 15 minutes deliberating which game to play, but if you are going to be after 7:15 or so please try and post something here so we can wait for you.

Also it is sort of BYOB/food but sometimes we order pizza.

I got Terra Mystica yesterday if anyone wants to play that. Also I'd like to revisit some of the games we tried in the last few weeks: Luna, Locomotive Werks, Pax Porfiriana

My preference is- Luna > Loco Werks > pax > terra but I'm happy to play any of those.

There was some interest for Mahjong last week -- still the case? I'm happy to lead either 13-card Taiwan/Singapore style or !6-card Hong Kong style (my preference) if someone (Lucy?) brings a set...

I am not attending this week, but I would be interested in the future. I barely remember how to play, but I played the Japanese Mahjong variant.
