18xx Saturday

We haven't played an 18xx in a while, this weekend is looking pretty good. What say you?

I'd like to try one that's new to me, and not more than 6 hours, so... 1835, 1824, 1843, 1856, 1865, 1895, 1853, 1880 all sound good ;)  hell we can even play 1812: the invasion of canada if you guys want.

Tentative at this point since I've no idea who can make it and something might come up.  But it can happen if at least 2 or 3 people are up for it.

For the uninitiated these train themed games are devilishly complicated and difficult, extremely fiddly with opaque strategies, so be warned :)

Sunday is mother's day so I think Saturday would work best at least for me, let me know what yall think

1853 was pretty cool, I'd like to try it again now that we know the rules a bit better.

I'd be up for playing again. If I lose, it's a practice game. If I win, it's a real game!

1824, 1843, 1853, and 1880 are all closer to 10 hour games on first play.

Although I'm more interested in those than the others listed.
