I just finished cutting probably 200 little pieces of paper and 200 stickers on wooden tokens. So I pretty much have to play the damn game now.

This is an advanced 18xx though so experience with at least a few 18xx is pretty much required. I'd like to play a relatively fast and friendly game though, in hopes to make it through the whole thing in a reasonable amount of time (6 hours?) and learn it a bit better.

Start time is flexible, I've got all day.  Hell we could play two games... :)

Wait are you not able to come? If you do I would recommend bringing your copy and splitting into two games of three

If I didn't have a birthday party I already RSVPd to, I would be there twice. I can make it for the first half?

I can host next week. I could steal Joe's '17 or we can play something else ('41 muahhaha)

Sounds like a plan! I'm leaving for the summer on the 21st, so it's basically next week or nothing for me.

Well 1817 would be one of the worst games to learn on. At some point we should schedule a round of either 1830 or games like 1889.
