Celesticon or Pacificon, hmm

There's two different gaming conventions in Santa Clara and Fremont over labor day weekend. I'm thinking of going to one or the other on Saturday, if anyone wants to carpool or just meet up and play some games down there that would be cool.

I'll be at Celesticon from Saturday morning to Monday afternoon. I'll be on the "I'll sleep when I'm dead!" program. Board Games abĂș!

I know some people are going to the competing con of pacificon in santa clara. It tends to get slightly better turnout, but both split the audience. http://www.pacificongameexpo.com/

tough choice, I just want to go wherever the focus is more on board games instead of RPGs

As I recall, Pacificon is nearly entirely wargames, while Celisticon is nearly entirely RPGs. Neither has much of a pure boardgame presence beyond the standard Agricola-Dominion-etc. fare

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
