Hi All and Welcome to our Tuesday games night!

If you're new to the group, we play a range of games but mostly on the heavy strategy side.

Personally I love to learn new games so long, complicated rules explanations are not uncommon. We also try to bring back old favorites often so we can develop our strategies and get some solid competition going.

I changed the start time back to 7:00, so that in order to give everyone the best chance of playing a game that suits their preferences,  we won't start any long games before 7:15 or so.  It might be hard to find a game if you arrive after 7:30.

I highly encourage people to suggest a game they might like to play ahead of time, that way it'll be easier to figure out what to play.  What helps most is if someone who knows the rules and is willing to teach can grab a table and recruit others, that is always very appreciated!

We have literally a ton of games, you can check out the list here:

p.s. We provide the games but BYO snacks and drinks. Just no liquids on the table and don't eat greasy food while playing!

Madiera was a lot of fun. I'd be interested in playing again once the rules have gelled in our heads.

I'd like to try and learn Madeira this week. It's a heavy Euro type game, more info here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/bo...
