Mechanics Institute (map)

Selected By: A former member

Moderated by Joe Quirk, author of It’s Not You, It’s Biology "This is a fascinating book--loaded with interesting facts(which you will want to quote to your friends and lovers) and terrifically amusing. How does Joe Quirk write a book with so much information and do it so humorously? Well, that's what he accomplishes, and you will be the better for reading it. You'll feel wiser and a lot more savvy in your relationships with the opposite sex. And if you ever have the opportunity to see one of Joe Quirk's public appearances, do it! He is warm and easy going with his audience and lots of fun to listen to." Amazon.

Cost- Regular people: $12; Brainiacs FREE; just mention "Meetup" at check in. http://milibrary.org/...

Question: What was the name of the book on intuition that was mentioned at the dinner conversation?

What a small world! I've met the author and have corresponded with him, but didn't know he had written this book!

    Thanks, Tom!

Very interesting subject matter, enjoyed the panel, wish there had been more time to hear what they had to say.

I really enjoyed the Meetup discussion after the panel discussion. Tom, the organizer, asked each of us to take a couple of minutes each to express our personal reactions, without interruption, that we wanted to share with the group, so this gave us all an opportunity to hear from each person. Then we had a free-wheeling discussion touching on many of the things that had been brought up.
