Sunday June 1st is coming. The chihuahuas can hardly wait for the next meetup and rumor has it the people are just as excited! Are you going to be there for the fun? Your dog sure wants to be at Stern Grove Sunday June 1st! We are going to help make this another great event by having TWO cool features. 1. Happy Hounds Massage will be at our meetup and offering massages for dogs. More details to follow but you know we have been a fan of Shelah for ages and hope that some of you will meet with her and see what a massage can do for your dog(s). We are working on setting up a nice area where you can quietly have your dog spend time with Shelah. The cost is $15.00 for a 10 minute massage. I promise you that your dog will love the massage as Shelah loosens tight muscles and soothes your pup. 2. SWAP TABLE.....we are going to have a table for you to bring items that you and your dog are just plumb tire of....heavens, how many times can you wear the same shirt or bedding the no longer matches your new paint job. Seriously, the South Bay Meetup just did the same thing and it was great! T-shirts, jackets, dresses, collars, leashes, crates, toys, piddle pads, car seats....all were brought and nearly everything found a new home. To be successful, we do need you to participate, bring things in and take things home. Nothing is for sale...its a free voluntary SWAP TABLE. Chihuahua Meetup! When and Where: First Sunday of Every Month 12:00pm until 2:00pm Pine Lake Dog Park, San Francisco , CA (aka Stern Grove) The enterance to the dog park is located off of Sloat Boulevard just west of 19th Avenue. Drive west on Sloat and turn right on Vale. Drive one block and cross Crestview where you will see the gate to the dog park. Drive down the steep hill and voila, there is the large parking lot. We will meet in the smaller grassy area to the left. IF the gate is locked (which sometimes happens)...don't worry, the meetup is still occuring. You will just need to park on the street and walk down to the down to the dogpark. Use Google or Yahoo Maps for the best directions!
