PEACHES - GRATEFUL DOGS RESCUE Peaches is available for adoption through Grateful Dogs Rescue, estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old, and came to us from the SF ACC where she failed her behavior for extreme shyness and stress. What a difference taking her out of the shelter has made, because the little girl is anything but shy! Peaches is taking to basic training like a champ. She is a smart little girl and very food-motivated which makes it really easy. She has been doing excellent at potty-training and has been accident-free once her foster mom figured out her schedule. She does NOT need to be crated during the day in order to prevent accidents. She is a lively, energetic pup who loves to run and chase, but settles down nicely and loves snuggle time with her human. She is initially wary with strangers -- barks at them -- but warms up after a few minutes and sniffs them and lets them pet her. Peaches is in a foster home with three other dogs and two teen children. She gets along great with other dogs, and if they happen to be around the same size, all the better. Overall, a very sweet, cuddly dog who would get along great with other dogs and children, although because of her small size, she would probably be best with kids past the toddler stage. Because of her energy level, she would do best in a household that is at least moderately active. If interested in meeting Peaches, come to April's SF Chihuahua Meetup or contact
