Introduction
Recently moved to SF, I've been mixing for a few years now. I play gigs from time to time, but not my day job.
What would you like to get out of this meetup group?
Be a better DJ.
What equipment / software do you use?
No software...I use two Numark NDX-800 decks with a 4-channel Behringer DDM-4000 mixer.
What would you like to learn the most?
I would like feedback on my mixing and learning new techniques. Would also like to get an introduction to production
What do you need the most help with?
Harmonic mixing...always wanted to also learn how to integrate turntablisms into house/trance music if possible.
If you already DJ, how long have you been DJ-ing?
about 4 years...not a pro club DJ, mainly playing at house parties in a big college town or my own parties
