Ed-Tech (18): ISTE Un-Meetup

Heading to ISTE 2012? Let's do an informal meetup in San Diego Sunday night to ring in the conference and meet some new ed-tech friends.

Sir Ken Robinson will be opening the conference this year at 5:45 with the keynote, so let's meet up nearby just before, at 4:00. Fred's Mexican is just a few blocks from the convention center, so it will be an easy stroll.

Bring along any ed-tech pals, and be ready to jump into any conversations that strike your fancy.

Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces in SoCal!

Hoping to meet Audrey Watters, whose takes on the edtrepeneur scene I totally am in agreement with. See y'all in half-hour.

Alright, in light of the keynote that happens to be at 6, let's meetup at 4 to catch up and make some new friends. Fred's Mexican restaurant has ample seating and is just a few blocks away from the convention center (527 5th Avenue
    San Diego‎ CA‎ 92101). See y'all there!

Time is 6pm - I'm thinking some pre-dinner drinks and conversation before the festivities commence. I'm not super familiar with the Harbor area, so I'll be scouting out a good place tomorrow. If someone has suggestions for a good place to grab a beer and catch up, feel free to shout it out! See y'all soon :)

Has the time and location been decided yet?

Un-see you there! Since this one won't be as "organized," I just wanted to make a distinction :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
