Hi everyone! I am a nonprofit consultant with a background in education policy and management. I'm involved in launching the Bay Area chapter of Young Education Professionals and would love to find ways that we can partner with The Ed-Tech Meetup.

Tell us a bit about yourself

I currently work for AchieveMission, a nonprofit consulting firm focused on human capital management. I've worked in education in various capacities, including classroom teaching, nonprofit education programming and administration, higher education programs, and education policy. I moved to the Bay Area from New York in 2011, and I'm excited to be a part of the education community here.

What is your role or interest in education technology?

I think technology has great potential to address longstanding education issues. A few years ago, I worked at MIT for the IDEAS Competition, a social innovation competition, and was amazed by the ways in which students applied their technology skills to solving social problems. I'm interested to learn more about the education-related technology innovation happening in the Bay Area.
