Hey Gamers,

We will be meeting at the San Francisco, Marriott Marquis.

The Marriott Marquis is right down the block from Jillians on the ground floor (not to be confused with the skydeck portion!).  The address is 780 mission St.

Here's a picture of the place: http://cache.marriott.com/propertyimages/s/sfodt/phototour/sfodt_phototour45.jpg?Log=1

If anyone has a theme, an ice breaker or a something they would like to present please let me know.

I look forward to seeing you all again!

Thanks,

Casey

Meetup was great, I enjoyed meeting everyone. A couple comments though: 1. Getting going at first was a bit rough trying to know who was there for the meetup. I think one of the organizers (or designee) should be there a bit early with some kind of signalling device to let members know "this is where to congregate". 2. Not that they are going to give us any dedicated space, but the early arriver should let staff know that "we are there", how many are expected & what part of the bar we are going to consume. My suggestion is the back corner that wraps around behind the actual bar. It is quieter, feels a bit more secluded as a "meeting space" there are several tall tables to stand around & demo on. 3. The organizer could also at the meeting start time'ish try to quickly get everyone's attention, introduce themselves, give any little spiel they have & ask if anyone has a quick word they would like to put out to the whole group, after that let the general elbow rubbing begin. See you soon!

Hey everyone! I'm Thomas, newcomer to this group. I run a YouTube channel where I promote indie game developers and their titles! I'll be wearing a white American Eagle hoodie with a red t-shirt and jeans. Very distinctive lol.

Thomas, I missed you last night, but I'd love to connect sometime if you want to grab coffee or a drink. I'd like to know more about your YouTube channel.

Had fun, met people that will likely become long lasting friends. I feel the location was terrible though. We need to designate a back corner or something as the first 20 mins or so seemed to be people looking for others randomly, confused faces.

Been killing time at Target across the way, lol. I rarely go to the city, so I'm having fun Window shopping for now. Maybe I should head over?

Any other Unity developers interested in a 3D Printing-related project? I've got a salary waiting for you as well as funding and a spot in an SF accelerator for the project. I'm working on the prototype now. Just looking for someone to partner with.

Any Unity developers interested in joining a project please talk to me tonight!

I'll be releasing my football/soccer game for mobile in approx. 8 weeks and I'd love to find someone to help me with the dev side. We have artists, branding, marketing plan and a monetization plan now we just need to get the game done!

I'll be demoing the game on my iPad and wearing a black and blue jesters hat for easy identification ;)

Jason, I hope we can grab some time to chat tonight. I'm not a developer, but I have a monetization product, so I'd love to hear what your doing and what your concerns are/were. I will be wearing a Red Sox hat and we'll see if that makes me distinct or not.

    Hello everyone,
I'm Laurent and that'll be my first time attending this meeting - in fact, attenting any meetup.
I'm finishing McDROID, I'll be wearing a loud orange mcdroid tshirt and a gray hoodie and if you're into esoteric stuff and are an awesome programmer, come up to me and let's chat.

Aww, I didn't realize these happened on Tuesday evenings. That's the one day of the week when I have other commitments. :(

People generally stick around for 2-3 hours, sometimes until the venue closes.

I believe it starts doing last runs around midnight. To make sure you can get back you should be able to change the time on Google Maps to see if the route allows the BART. It takes me an hour to get back and I try to head out around 10:30 - 11, never not gotten back yet.
