Job Responsibilities Mind Control Software is looking for an experienced Game Designer to ensure the success of our key projects. Candidates must be able to work independently and create game designs from basic principles. The Game Designer must work cooperatively with the Producer, and the rest of the Design, Engineering, Art, Audio, and QA staff to create the best possible game.
Required Skills ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ? Absolute Passion for playing and making a wide range of games. ? Ability to work well in a team environment. ? Enthusiasm and knack for researching designs.
Job Requirements ? Ability to create and define gameplay fundamentals, game features, UI, screens, and levels. ? Ability to work closely with project team members to execute design and work through design revisions as needed. ? Ability to see design through from concept to approval to implementation. ? Ability to create and update Game Proposals and Game Design Documents in a fast-paced environment. ? Ability to work closely with the Producer to ensure scope and milestones are met. ? 3+ years game design experience on a shipped product/launched.
Preferred Skills ? Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. ? Experienced in designing or playing casual/social games. ? Experienced in designing or playing strategy/time management games. ? Experienced in designing or playing kids online products.
