Sr. Network Engineer needed for 3rd Person Action/Adventure title

Hello, all:

I’ve just recently joined the list, so if this is considered “spam,” I apologize but I feel like I’d at least be doing myself a disservice as a Recruiter if I didn’t at least try J.  Some of the best/brightest Engineers/Designers that I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing have come from similar mailing lists like this one.

Anyhow, I wanted to reach out to the list regarding Sr. Network Engineer position that I have in the Bay area, which would be working on a 3rd Person Action/Adventure titles for the Xbox 360/PS3/PC markets.

You’d pretty much be that guy (or gal!) responsible for providing the leadership and technical direction in all aspects of Network Engineering for a AAA title, overseeing and supervising the core multiplayer and network game technologies within the Unreal 3 engine.

Proficiency with C++, experience building network implementation for complex game systems, and experience with online game service API’s are just a few things the hiring manager would LOVE to see from prospective candidates.

Salary range for this position tops out at about $120K or so, but this will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you would like to discuss this opportunity in more detail.

Thanks, everyone!

-Donald

P.S. I’ve also got Network Engineer positions in Los Angeles & the Pacific NW.  Even if you’re not a Network Programmer, but have experience with some aspect of Games Design in general, feel free to contact me anyhow to discuss other opportunities that I’m working on.
