Where does she want to sleep? Our 3.5 year old is in a phase where she wants to sleep on the floor. She tries to sleep in the dining room but our compromise is she can sleep on the floor next to her bed. At some point during the night she ends up in her bed anyway. We used to make her get back into bed but figure as with most things, it's just a phase she will eventually outgrow, like her older sister's obsession with wearing only dresses which ended after a year. What we are insistent about is the bed time hour. That's non negotiable.
But all situations are different. If Nora wanted to sleep with us all the time we'd say 'no'.
