Staff Snippet: Marching PROUD
Dear Families & Supporters,
Two years ago, I marched in my very first Pride with Our Family Coalition. It was an amazing experience: breathing in the excitement and being reflective about the intentionality, history and purpose of the parade and what it means to have Pride in my own and our collective identity as LGBTQ people. As I ran around taking pictures of such PROUD families, I looked forward to the day when I would march with my kids when I start my own family.
It's been an amazing almost 3 years on staff at OFC. I'll be signing off at the end of this month to finish up my Master's in Social Work, so this will be the last e-newsletter I curate. I have been humbled and inspired everyday by the families and organizations that I've been connected to, and am truly grateful.
