My name is Mike as well. I used to come to the gay dad meet ups years ago when my daughter was younger...I haven't been coming to any meet ups in the recent past, and now it may even be harder with a 4 month old younger sister at home! But I am hoping to come to more events when the baby gets a little older. The older one is almost 7 y/o and in second grade.
We've been through surrogacy pregnancies twice with the most recent birth a few months ago in May. Its a complex journey with many things involved. I'd be happy to share my experience and/or offer my perspective on the process/medical centers/agencies/insurance companies/attorneys/LSW.... etc... if your cousin is interested. I know I wished I had known parents whom I can speak to before started the first journey.
My partner is also a family attorney who took care of all the legal processes for us, and can also offer some perspective on that aspect as well.

My cousin just contacted me about resources for becoming a parent through surrogacy.
I did a lot of research over a decade ago, so I figure my info isn't current. Is there anyone out there who may have done more recent research and could help my cousin get started on his journey?
Thanks in advance!
Mike (single dad to Thomas)
