Last week, we launched a new Udacity HTML5 Game Development course (CS255) featuring Colt McAnlis, Peter Lubbers, and Sean Bennett and this Thursday, February 14th at 10:30 a.m. PST we are hosting an introductory Google Developers Live session with special guest Sebastian Thrun (Udacity's CEO) to talk about the course. Don't miss this live, online event: http://goo.gl/HuaA1
Note: The moderator is open so you can ask and vote for your questions.
In this session you can learn all about the content of the course and a series of other exciting initiatives we are organizing in parallel, such as a 10-week study group at the Google office right here in San Francisco (signup info will be announced soon) which will also be live streamed. In addition, details will be announced for an exciting game development contest.

You can sign up for the CS255 HTML5 course here:https://www.udacity.com/course/cs255.
Was the session recorded? Many of us could not connect online. It would be nice to listen or view presentation.

A live streaming presentation with some Q&A: it was an interesting look behind the development of this course, and the state of web technology & education today.

Quite fine in terms of content and production value -- tho' *maybe* audio level could have been raised just a bit?

Inspiring to see the enthusiasm about teaching and learning the practical things that will advance the state of the art. I have some great things to contribute that I'd like to share with the team.

Very interesting, lots of good topics were covered, about the future of gaming and about the class itself. Hopefully the class will be back up soon.

I would look definitely in the the online class. But regarding a live event on Valentine day... I think I will have to pass.
