Introduction

Hi, I'm an engineering manager at CBS Interactive in San Francisco. My teams are building iOS apps now and Android apps in the future and we're spearheading a next generation mobile web platform focused on content delivery to smartphones and tablets.

What is your interest in HTML5?

HTML5 is at the core of our next generation mobile platform. Our first focus is to build an optimized HTML5 experience for the mobile web, and later to apply that experience, knowledge and hopefully the code we're writing now to hybrid/native applications.

What do you do today?

I've been developing mobile solutions for the last three and a half years. I'm currently at CBS Interactive where we are in the process of building an optimized content delivery platform for smart devices. Previously, I was at Yahoo! Mobile, where I managed the mobile rendering platform team.
