What is your interest in HTML5?

Interested in learning and working with more advanced techniques such as CSS3 transitions, transforms and animation and HTML5 for mobile web apps. I'm also very interested in improving my JavaScript & jQuery coding skills especially focusing on unobtrusive coding techniques.

What do you do today?

I'm a UI developer. I work on frontend code (mainly CSS and HTML currently) for my company's web site and am just starting to work more on mobile web projects. I still have to support IE6 for some of what I do but I try to make good use of progressive enhancement techniques where I can.

  • Hi Kristen,
I will not be able to attend the javascript study group until the summer (rehearsal) but I worked on my animation using keyframes, and I can not get it to work in safari. Can you find an error?

Also, I want to make a match game using two slide shows. Can I use the the jquery function is or javascript regex match to match two elements of two image arrays? I could never get regex to work and have only read about the is function.
    Thank you, Emily Wong

  • Hi Kristen,
I put some of my own images in to your code, but I want each image to move in a different direction ( right, left, top). How do I do that?

    Thanks, Emily Wong
p.s. I will be there tonight at Zoosk.

  • Hi Kristin,
Please tell me about the code editor you used to send me the
sample of jquery and css. Also, I wanted to know about code
editors that can be used on a tablet.
    Thank you, Emily
